This water system will be included in the large system when it is completed. During the hydro meeting, the manager stated that at least a sum .of $18,600 would be needed for capitol expansion during the coming year. It would, over the next two years, necessitate a debenture issue of $25,000. It is also anticipated that an increase of 15 per cent will be necessary in hydro rates in the coming year. Carlos Tamblyn Band President ORONO (TC) -- The Orono Band held its annual, meeting with 14 members present. The meeting was held in the form of a banquet at the New Dutch Oven Restaurant. Following the banquet the band presented M. J. Tamblyn with a bouquet. of -roses. The secretary-treasurer, C. Alldred, reported a bank bal- ance of $1534.49. The slate of officers for 1965 is: President, Carlos Tam- blyn; secretary treasurer, Cecil Alldred; bandmaster, Don- ald Hamm; honorary band- master, M. J. Tamblyn. Following the election of offi- cers the members discussed the future of the band. It was decided to resume practices on the first Monday in January. The president and bandmaster are also to make arrange- ments to hold a spring concert and fo obtain some new music for such a concert.
