Sh: welcomed all the mem- bers back after the summer vacation and spoke on the plans for the coming season. The opening hymn was "The King of Love My Shepherd <5,"" followed with prayer by Mrs. Albert Singer.,The roll call was given and the minutes read by the secretary, Mrs, Earl Hoy. The treasurer, Mrs. Russell Worsley, gave her report in- cluding the catering for the wedding. Mrs. C. L. Gunter agreed to finish out the term of -Ithe corresponding secretary -- owing to the former secretary moving to another part of the city. Several items of correspon- dence were read, including. a letter from Miss Muriel Bam- ford in Bansward, India. It was decided to forward her usual cheque to her this month.
