Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor- length gown of silk organza over taffeta, styled with a sur- plice bodice adorned with Alen- con lace, and long, pointed sleeves. The full skirt was de- signed from a pointed waist- line and worn over many laces. A pearl encrusted tiara held her fingertip veil. She carried yellow roses on a Bible with streamers.
