They set an all-time record for the month with Sales of 33,218 North Am- erican cars and trucks. The previous June sales record, established last year, was 30,605 cars and trucks. Passenger cars sales in June totalled 28,109 up from 26,096 in June 1963, Truck sales climbed to 5,109 from 4,509 a year ago. In the nine months to date of the 1964 model year, GM dealers sold 266,978 cars and trucks compared with 242,457 in the same period a year ago. Car sales for the period were 228,664 com- pared with 210,161 in the same nine months of the 1963 model year. Truck sales totalled 38,314 up from 32,- 296 in the similar 1963 per- iod.
