WILLIAM JOHN FORESTELL The death of William John Forestell occurred, Thursday, Hospital. He had been in poor health for a year. His last residence was 148 Church street. He was in his 82nd year. A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Forestell, he was born in Rawdon Township, Ont., and married the former Miss Margaret Doyle in Marmora, Ont., June 14, 1904. He has been a resident of Oshawa for 12 years coming here from Lindsay. In 1947 he retired from the Canadian Na- tional Railways where he work- ed as a conductor. He had 28 years service with the company. A member of St. Gregory's Roman Catholic Church, he was also a member of the Holy Name Society, Oshawa, and a former member of the Knights of Columbus, Lindsay. The question of separate school sparked lively debate among the 100 delegates to the Rupert's Land provincial synod.
