Also, diplomas will be given for the best rose in each class and first, second and third prize ribbons will be awarded to each class. The exhibition will open at 12 noon and close at 4.30 p.m. Dur- ing the afternoon there will be a demonstration of pruning ever- green trees and a talk on the use of chemical fertilizers. Bill Hartnell, judge of the show, and well-known for his column, the Garden Clinic, will present prizes and comment on the entries. SEVERAL DISPLAYS 'Man About the House," will give a demonstration of floral arranging. There will also be displays by gymnast students of Ajax high school and the Ajax judo club. and a demonstration of baton twirling by Ajax Baton twirlers. The lJadies of the Society will have a tea garden where visit- ors may come and sit for a few minutes, All proceeds will be used towards the indoor garden which the Ajax Horticultural Society plans for the foyer of the new Ajax and Pickering General Hospital.
