Bobo, the pride and joy of owner Raoph Hayden of Tor- onto, hit the headlines earlier this year when a policeman ac- cused her of leaping on him. Magistrate Robert Taylor took one look at her big brown eyes| and dismissed the charge. | Recently Mr. Hayden suffered a bad fall and had to be taken to hospital. Because there was no one else to look after Bobo and' her four nine - month-old pups, Mr. Hayden's sister called the Toronto Humane Society. Under the mistaken. impres- sion that she could pick up the pets later, Mrs. D, J. McDevitt signed the dogs over to the so- ciety. When she called to check on them later that same day, Mrs. McDevitt was told all five had been destroyed, the pups be- cause they were unruly -- and Bobo because the society con- sidered her "'too old for a home| to be found for her." | 190 6190 450 455 205 205 35 --l,,| Surviving besides her husband --2 |are two sisters, the twin, Mrs. |Anna Campbell and Mrs. Ber- |tha Watson, all of Toronto. av ve| _Mrs. Cain rested at the Earl +1 | Elliott Chapel, Dovercourt road, Ea Mtpect® juntil Tuesday, A service was 525 525 525 held there Monday evening con- 15¥2 15M 15%--1%2|ducted by her pastor Rev.
