Henry High © On Friday, May 2, Mary Lou Cuddy, Trinity College, June Scott, Victoria College, and Bob Orton, University -of Western Ontario, came to ad- dress the Grade 12B guidance class. These people had gradu- ated from Henry last year. Mary Lou, June and Bob gave the students a_ briefing on each of -their different courses, They gave their points of view on just how easy or hard it is toadjust to university life, . After they had finished talk- ing they answered many of the students' questions concerning university, Mary Lou also ad- dressed Grade 12A on Wednes- day. LAST DANCE On Thursday, May 21, Henry Street High School he!d its last dance of the year; a tea dance from 3.45 to 5.30. It was a fair success with many students finding it a welcome break from studying for the June exams, On Friday, May 22, the Folk- Song Club held a meeting. As the meetings will soon be terminating for the summer, the members would like to thank Mr. King for supervising them throughout the year. LOSSA Mark Smashed In. In girls' events, the LOSSA long jump record (13' 814") was bettered by Angie Eggert, who jumped 13' 10", . Senior Girls'. Champion. was Terry English, witha total of 17 points. At present there.is a tie for Junior Girls' Champion _ be- tween Chris Craddock and Sue Mason, who each have 15 points. The Junior discus and javelin events, which have not been held yet, will decide this cham- pionship. As. some events have not been run yet, the boys' results are not complete. Last. week it was reported that Anderson stood fifth of the 12 schools in the LOSSA Track and Field meet.
