WALTER WILSON The death of Walter Wilson, of 3843 West llth. avenue, Van- couver, occurred Tuesday, Jan. 14, in Vancouver. A former Osh- awa man, Mr. Wilson was in his 78th year, Mr. Wilson served with the 24th Battalion Victoria Rifles during the First World War and with No, 20, EFTS, Oshawa, during the Second World War. In Oshawa he lived at 29 San- dra street west and worked with Creighton, Drynan and Murdoch until he retired and went to Vancouver *- April, 1962. Mr. Wilson leaves his wife, Lillie; one son, Walter Douglas, of Vancouver; one daughter, Mrs. Lester (Mamie), of Ocean Park, Surrey; one _ brother, Douglas, of Yorkshire, England; one sister, Mrs. F. M. Turnbull, of Toronto, and four grandchil- dren. The funeral service took place at 1 p.m., Friday, Jan, 17, in th Little Chapel of the Flowers, Forest Lawn. The service was conducted by the Rev.
