Unfortunately 119 of these failed to show up to keep their ap- pointment. Fortunately to prevent the clinic from becoming a complete failure 52 of our citizens came without appointments to make the final tally 370 bottles. Of such is the frustration made for willing volunteers who give of their time unselfishly to keep the Red Cross Free Blood bank in operation. Feur hundred is the magic number which our clinic in Oshawa has been attempting to maintain this year. At this fig- ure it is felt that we in Osh- awa can maintain a healthy margin for emergencies. The necessity of those making ap- pointments and their keeping of them marks the difference between a successful monthly clinic and one which does not supply this city's monthly needs.
