Thursday, October 24, 1963 @ THE OSHAWA TIMES, Company Leader Receives Highest Award In Guiding The highlight of the 2nd Osh- awa Girl Guide Company's pot luck supper, held a' Guide Hall, was the presentation of the gold cord to Patsy Lynne Campbell. She also received her Woodcraft Emblem, Astronomer's, Stalk- er's, Camper's and Woodman's badges. Following the supper the guides formed a horseshoe for the presentation. Mrs. W. E. Gardner, Adelaide District Com- missi , then introduced Mrs. D. E. Fox, Division Commis- 'isioner, to the guests present. Patsy Lynne's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Campbell were then called to the horseshoe. Mrs. Fox presented the cord to Mrs. Campbell to place on her daugh- ter's arm. Patsy Lynne was then pr ted with two - able gifts: a Girl Guide ring from the 2nd Mothers' Commit- tee and a Girl Guide binder from the Guides.
