Souch, Sommerville street, _ recently completed forty years 'pf mar- - pied life. To mark the o¢casion, they were guests of honor. at) two dinner parties. Mr. and Mrs. Souch were married September 4, 1923, at Bowmanville, moving to Osh- awa shortly after. Mrs. Souch is the former May Manning, daughter of the late Mr, and Mrs, Albert Manning. : Mr. Souch is vice-president of Ontario Motor Sales; a past|@ resident of the Oshawa Curling Club, the Oshawa Golf Club, and the Oshawa Kiwanis Club; and is a member of Cedar Lodge. Mrs. Souch is an active|# member of the King Street Unit- ed Church, where she was pre- sented with a life membership|s73 in the United Church Women, last December. Mr. and Mrs. J. N, Willson, Mary street, entertained them at a dinner at the Hotel Gen- osha, which was attended by a number of their friends. After the dinner they were entertain- ed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Cay, Woodlea ave- nue, where they were presented with a floor lamp for their new| cottage. Mr. Souch's sister, Mrs. Morley Burgess, Maple Grove, entertained at her home, where she had a dinner party honoring Mr. and Mrs. Souch.
