McADAM As mentioned in the last issue of '420 Wing Tips", the RCAF Association held its Ontario Group Convention in Peterbor- ough on April 17, 18 and 19; and among the many items of business discussed, the most significant was the election of our 1963-64 executive with Leon Shedlin of Toronto being install- ed as our new group president. Under Mr. Shedlin's. very strong and capable direction, we can be sure that the af- fairs of Ontario Group will Be extremely well handled by his dedicated and experienced ex- wish them well during the com- ing term, and pledge our sup- port in whatever projects they may undertake, And that brings us to the main theme of this month's column -- the election of our own 420 Wing executive sched- uled to t:f/2 place on Wednes- day, Aug. 21. The importance of this event cannot be overesti- mated; nor can any member allow himself to disregard his responsibility in the selection of the best possible slate of offic- ers we can choose to direct our destiny during the coming year.
