Promise for the balance of the current sales season ending in June and for the start of the next one in December is good. "We've reached the high point of the year at this sale," President Walter Taylor of Emba, the U.S. association of mutation mink farmers, said iday. He spoke as the year's largest mink auction anywhere in the world was nearing an end at the Hudson's Bay Company Fur Sales Inc. headquarters in downtown Manhattan. Buyers from throughout the Western world were on hand for the auction of more than 540,000 mink 'pelts, all from United States mink ranches. Dollar value at the sale was placed at roughly $10,000,000. "Prices are up a full 20 per cent from the low point reached! ae PE Se Mec teer i. yw He very weak," said Robert Birge,|Germany and Switzerland, SF RONNIE Lite. nar te, kientsinaaaahe tibiae inte Slit p wnt bec bihanaetibe tener nt nities Coommsbiereay ; i Pein crm ve cute ' Slee epee Police Chief Sees Breakup Ot Theft Ring WINDSOR, Ont.
