Starr: Susan Sl Ruth Jeanine Werry Ot Kedron Wed To Grant Aubrey Carson Kedron United Church was the setting for the evening wed- ding on Friday, May 17, of Ruth Jeanine Werry, daughter of Mr, and Mrs, Harold Werry of Kedron, and Grant Aubrey Carson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. Carson of Mount Zion. Owing to the illness of the Reverend R. H. Love, the minis- ter of Kedron United Church, the Reverend R. H. Wylie of Queensway United Church, To- ronto, a family friend and for- mer minister, performed the double-ring ceremony, assisted by the Reverend T. Fleétham, minister of the bride- groom's church, Mount Zion. The wedding music was play- ed by Mr. Alan Clark, Green- wood. Mr. Fred Densham sang "O Lord Most Holy', "The Lord's Prayer" and a special setting of "O Perfect Love". The congregation sang '"O Father All Creating' and "The Lord Is My Shepherd'. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor- length gown of white satin peau de soie, with princess style bod- ice and three-quarter length sleeves. The skirt was styled with unpressed pleats at the back, falling into a short chapel train. Her waist-length illusion lace veil fell from a coronet of orange blossom, encrusted with pearls and sequins, She carried a cascade of pink and white roses. The matron of honor was Mrs, Ronald Werry of Kedron. The other attendants were Mrs. James Halliday, Oshawa, Mrs. Leslie Baylis, Greenbank, and Miss Marilyn Love, Toronto. They wore identically styled street-length gowns of Paris blue crystal peau, de soie made with princes style bodices and bell-shaped skirts. They wore matching veiled bandeau head. dresses, and carried cascade bouquets of white carnations and pink roses. Two nieces of the couple, Miss Laura-Mae Love, Kedron, and Miss Sandra Carson, Mount Zion, were flower girls, wearing miniature replicas of the attend- ants' dresses. They carried bas- kets of pink roses and white button chrysanthemums. The best man was Mr. Lorne Carson of Orillia. Mr. Alan Car- son and Mr. John Carson of Mount Zion, and Mr. Ronald Werry of Kedron were ushers. The bride's nephew, Master Kevin Werry, was ring bearer. Following the service, a re. ception was held in the lower hall of the church. The bride's mother received in a navy blue silk sheath dress, with bodice of navy blue lace over shell pink, with a matching hat trimmed with shaded blue tulle, and a corsage of pale pink rosebuds. She was assisted by -the bridegroom's mother who wore a mist blue silk shantung ensemble, and a corsage of pink rosebuds. Following grace by the Rev- erend R. H. Wylie, the Rev- erend T. H. Fleetham acted as master of ceremonies for the| © toasts, which were proposed by Mr. Sidney MacDonald of Ster- ling, Mr. Lorne Carson of Orillia and Mr. William Werry of Ked- ron. As the couple left on their honeymoon the bride wis wear- ing a brown, light-weight wool suit, with white petalled hat and white gloves, brown purse and shoes. Her corsage was in bronze tones, Out-of-town guests were pres. H.|ent from Toronto, Don Mills, Preston, Brooklin, Greenbank, Greenwood, Mount Zion, Port Perry, Claremont, Balsam, Ash- burn, Stirling, Orillia and Peterborough. Maria Ignazzitto And John Lazzaro United In Marriage The ceremony was recently performed in St. John the Evan- gelist Chureh, Whitby, when Miss Maria Ignazzitto, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Frank 'Ignaz- zitto, Whitby became the bride of Mr. John Molica Lazzaro, Whitby, son of Mr. and Mrs. Antonia Milic Lazzaro, Italy. The Reverend L. .J Austin offi- ciated, Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a full- length gown of nylon chiffon over tulle and taffeta, The lace bodice was fashioned with a scalloped neckline and lily-point sleeves. The skirt was designed with lace inserts and flower motifs. A pearl and crystal crown held her nylon chiffon fingertip veil which was edged with lace and she carried a cas- cade of white roses, Mrs, Thomas Molica, maid of honor, was gowned in a coral shade with the bridesmaids, Miss Felipa Rugeri, Miss Lina Ignazzitto and Miss Theresa Maggio in green. They wore identically styled street-length dresses of silk chiffon with empire waistlines, surpljce bod- ices and bell skirts, with tiara headdresses. They carried cas- cades of pink and white carna- tions. Miss Sarina Cannella, flower girl, wore a white lace frock fashioned with a jewel neckline, long sleeves and a gathered skirt, Her headdress| was a crown of white flowers) and her flowers matched those of the senior attendants.
