Colored travelogues de. picting the beauties of the Scot- tish Highlands and "The Charm of Ulster' with its lush Irish countryside provided an armchair holiday for the appre- ciative audience. In addition, a journey to the Gulf of Mexico, to learn about the great sponge industry carried on there, and a fleeting trip to the Laurentians for skiing, and to Banff and the Victoria Glacier concluded the program. At the business session, held prior to this, special thanks were extended to Mr. and Mrs. George McKinstry for entertain- ing the club at their home the previous month. It was also re- ported that the visit to the Cliff- side Club in Torono had been most ful from the point in every major suit collection. Suits often wear an easy prin- cess cut with raised bustline and higher waistline. The back is usually rounded while the front looks concave, Under - bosom seams or flap pockets and but- tons are placed just above the look, Curved seams appear every- where, Skirts are most often A- 'ine or slightly flared, Collars, when not small and notched, are often flatteringly scarved. During the discussion con- cerning the election of officers for the ensuing year, it was unanimously decided that the present officers be asked to continue in their positions. This means that officers of the club will be as follows: Presidents, Mr. and Mrs, William Dixon; vice-presidents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schultz; secretaries, Mr, and Mrs. George McKinstry; treasurers, Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Parliament; social' conveners, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Davis; sick committee conveners, Mr. and Mrs, Edward Jeffery: bul- letin conveners, Mr. and Mrs, William Murray; press secre- taries, Mr. and Mrs. Sharples. Next month's meetig will be under the direction of Mr, and Mrs. Percy Walter, when spe. cial guests are to be invited for what it is hoped will be an exceptionally good program.
