MARY A, DENSEM The death of Mrs. Mary Alberta Densem, of Bowman- ville, occurred Thursday, April 4, at the Bowmanville Memorial Hospital, in her 87th year. She had been in poor health for the past month. Born in Hampton, she was @ daughter of the late Emma Jane and Thomas Wilcox, She was educated in Hampton and mar- ried the late Frederick Densem in Bowmanville. Except for a period of seven years, when Mrs. Densem re- sided with an aunt at Wheatley, she lived in Bowmanville all her life. She was a member of St. John's Anglican Church, Bow- menville, Mrs, Densem was _ pre- deceased by her husband 36 years ago. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. W. J. E. Ormis- ton (Greta), and a son Alan Densem, both of Bowmanville, She is also survived by one. sis- er, Mrs. Mabel Rogers, of Blen- eim, and one brother, Milton Wilcox, of Bowmanville, There are two grandchildren. Interment will be in Bowmanville Cemetery, FRANKLIN MOORE MOUNT FOREST -- Frank- lin G. Moore, age 94 years of Mount Forest died, Monday, April 1. at the home of his son, Stephen in Mount Forest. Born in Darlington Township he moved in 1881 to Arthur Township where he farmed till he retired and moved to Cedar- ville in 1941, In 1948 he moved to Conn. : He was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Conn. He is survived by one son, Stephen and one daughter, Mil- dred, Mrs, 0. Duncan of Conn, His wife, the former Grace Hunter, predeceased him. In her 100th year, Mrs. Isa- bella Murray, of 109 Agnes street, died Thursday, April 4, in the Oshawa General Hos- ital. She had resided at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rose Isa- bell Rupert for the past 16 years, She had been in good health until four months ago. Mrs. Murray was born in Hastings, Ont., Oct. 24, 1867 and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Mur ray. She married James Mur. ray in Hastings Feb. 23, 1887. He predeceased her Oct. 8, 1933. She came to Oshawa from Tweed where she lived for 46 years. Mrs. Murray was a member of St. Andrew's Pres- byterian Church, Tweed. She is survived by one daugh- ter, Mrs. Rose Isabell Rupert of Oshawa; and three sons, Hugh and Grant of Oshawa and Ray of Buffalo, N.Y. She was the last of a family of six. The body is at the Armstrong Funeral Home for service at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 6. Rev. H. A. Mellow, pastor of North- minster United Church, will con- duct the service. Interment will be in Victoria Cemetery, Tweed. FUNERAL OF JOHN DAVID NORMAN The memorial service for John David Norman, 804 Doug- las street, who died in the Osh- awa General Hospital Monday, April 1, was held at the Arm- strong Funeral Chapel Thurs- day, April 4 at 2 p.m. Rev. John Foner pastor of Gedardale United Church, con- ducted the service. Interment was in Mount Lawn Cemetery.
