' The Noble Grand, Sister Elda Howard, presided, assisted by Sister Elsie McKee, vice grand. "The Noble Grand welcomed the members. ' & The vice grand reported on the sick and shut-in members, se who have been confined to spital have now returned home. * Several members volunteered assist in the Tuck Shop, at ilisdale Manor. '* The members decided to fore- @o the exchange of Christmas gifts each to bring a white gift td be taken to those, less fortun- ate than themselves. A large quality of food and gifts was received and a com- mittee appoirited to pack and istribute the hampers. . After the meeting, the mem- bers retired to the Banquet Hall when carols were sung and Christmas refreshments served by the committee in charge. \ The next regular meeting will be held Monday, January 7. L.A.P.M, The regular meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary, Patriarchs 'Militant, IOOF, was held in the IOOF Hall, recently, with Lady 'Jenny Peary presiding, assisted by Lady Nelda Thompson, VG. The president welcomed the members. The vice .. president reported on the sick and shut-in mem- bers and also reported that these members had received Christ- mase remembrances from the auxiliary. The charter was reverently draped, in memory of the late 'Caroline Curtiss, who, when able, was a regular attendant at the LAPM meetings. In lieu of the exchange of Christmas gifts each member gave a cash donation to be pre- sented to the Retarded Chil- dren's workshop.
