He served during the First World War with the 45th Cana- dian Field Artillery, suffering damage to his hei at Vimy Ridge. He began his ministry in the Methodist Church in 19223 as a missionary in Northern Ontario. After years of pastoral work, he later served as a padre with the Department of Veterans' Affairs in Toronto. Rev. Pogson passed away in je a of last year, at the age f 72.
