Fox commended the girls on their speeches and then spoke on Guiding. Mrs, Joseph Hart read a mes- sage from Kingsway District Commissioner, Mrs. J. T. Gas- kell, who ws unable to attend, due to other committments. Thanks were extended to Mrs. Carl Creamer and her commit- tee, Mrs. W. C. Dart, Mrs. Bud The Third Oshawa Guide United Company and Brownie Pack held their annual Mother and Daughter banquet at Westmount United Church recently with approximately 100 in attend- ance. The banquet was served by the WA of Westmount Unit- ed Church. The tables were decorated with yellow and blue stream- ers, centre pieces of spring flowers (yellow tulips) and for- sythia among them), and dolls INCOMING, RETIRING PRESIDENTS Christie and Mrs. Joseph Hart for decorations. The Guides formed a horse- shoe and Mrs. D, E. Fox, Osh- awa Division. Commissioner, presented Guides with their badges. dressed in blue and brown uniforms.
