Brown of Peterborough and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Archje Lunn of Orono. Miss Dorothy Van der Bent Reg. N. was the soloist and sang "Q Perfect Love', "The Lord's Prayer" and "The Wedding Hymn". Mrs. Fred Hunter play- ed tne organ. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a flowing gown of white peau de soie, trimmed with pearl-dotted lace and bracelet sleeves. From the apron - front skirt a pleated Polonaise drape extended to a 'chapel train. A tiered, fingertip veil of silk illusion was caught in a pearled crown and her cathedral bouquet comprised a white orchid and white feather- ed chrysanthemums. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor- length gown of ivory delustered satin, fashioned with a fitted bodice and a bell-shaped skirt, moulded in soft, unpressed pleats. The bride is the daugh- ter of Mrs. Richard de Jong of Oshawa and the late Mr. de Jong and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. van Essen of Huisterheide, the Netherlands, Mr. John van Tellingen play- ed the wedding music and the bride was given in marriage by her brother, Mr. John de Jong. The bride's gown of white silk faille was styled with a scooped neckline appliqued with floral lace medallions; a basque bod- ice, compli ted by jiers, caught at the back with a self rose and accented with lace motifs. The skirt fell in rich folds over a hooped crinoline secured by a rhinestone coronet. She carried red Sweetheari roses and white carnations. Miss Barbara Zanker wat maid of honor wearing deer rose peau de soie with a basquc bodice, scoop neckline and bouf fant skirt. Her headdress was ¢ mohair rose and matching cir ular veil 'and she carried < spray of white carnations anc deep pink roses. Little Mis: Louise Bakker was the flower girl. She wore matching rose peau de soie, simply styled witl a basque bodice, three-quarter sleeves and full skirt, all ac- cented with white lace. Her matching bandeau was accent- ed with tiny, white flowers and she carried a raffia basket of white daisy chrysanthemums and deep pink roses. Master Tommy Bakker acted as ring bearer, carrying the rings on a white satin cushion, edged with lace, Mr. John van Essen of Port Hope was the best man and the ushers were John de Jong and Piet van Halteren. A reception was held at The Flying Dutchman.
