Andrew Lawson, as shown in the old advertisement, offered the best of wines, liquors, and cigars at the Glasgow House and operated the Victoria Hall. Miss Iveson, who grew up in the yellow frame home owned by her father on Victoria Street which is now being restored, would ap- preciate hearing from anyone with a picture of the Glasgow House and Victoria Hall. Rounding out the four hotels were Eastman's and the Veitch. Together with village rooming houses, the hotels catered to the stage trade between Cornwall and Ottawa.
