Tames CVisitin Sve Sg with Margot McCallum Mildred's Eggless Potatoe Dough Nuts 2 cups Hot Mashed Potatoes 1 1/2 cups W. Sugar 1 cup Sweet Milk 2 tblsp. Butter or Crisco 4 cups of Flour 5 tsp. (level) Baking Powder 3/4 tsp. Salt Mildred Harrison Method: Put sugar, butter and hot potatoes in bowl. Add milk and mix well. Add mixed dry ingredients all at once. Stir well. Have 2 Ibs. Crisco heating while preparing dough. Roll out to 1/2 inch thickness and cut with doughnut cutter. Test Crisco with piece of dough. It should rise at once. Turn doughnuts once only.
