'A registered music teacher is one who has been teaching music in a professional capacity with a pedagogical skill considered satisfactory by the Board of Examiners.' . (From the By-Laws of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association) A registered music teacher, before being accepted as such, is subjected to a very intensive examination of all her qualifications. If your child is taking lessons from a registered music teacher you know that he or she is being correctly taught. What better gift can you give your child than a knowledge and appreciation of good music? This is something that can be enjoyed as long as he or she lives.
