The most exciting day was Wednesday. After supper cLean-up we pkanned to go ona twelve mile canoe trip. We were going to go two on three miles that evening, camp out for the night and continue our trip the next morning. Unfortunately, we got caught in the marsh and after two hours of finding our way out of the marshes we had to go back to camp. The next day we did the trip but almost missed supper. -- It was a great week and we Left camp for home on July 5th feeling happy. SF FFF GIRL GUIDES On June 28th the Girl Guides leaving for Camp Woolsey were picked up at the Voyageur Terminal in Ottawa at 10 a.m. On arrival at camp we played a game to give us a chance to meet all the girls. After that we pitched out tents and our flys. With the exception of one lunch and two suppers, we cooked all our own meals on hibachis. While we were at camp we had an opportunity to earn many badges. Part of our activities included swimming and crafts each day. On July 1st we were visited by Margaret Trudeau and the wife of the President of Indonesia. They only stayed for a short while. On July 4th we cleaned up the camp site to get ready to return home.
