You're probably wondering just what the Review is all about. Let me try to explain it. About a month ago, at an R.A. meeting, somebody suggested a community newspaper. Ideas became plans, plans became actions and actions became the Review. It all happened so fast we're still pick- ing up loose ends. From the first, however, we've had some PreTey clear ideas about several things. an oe . First, we intend to produce the best quality paper we can. Russell has never been noted for half-hearted efforts, and we don't plan to be out. of Step. Second, we intend to get into every mail box,' and we are going to do it at no cost to the reader. The merchants of Russell have. - backed us generously in our venture, and we hope they'll find their advertising worthwhile. Third, we want to serve all community groups in our "Bulletin Board" section, our News, and our Special Features. Religion. and politics? well, they seem to be pretty. much part of the community, So we! 11 treat them, in all due respect, as any other group. Just don't expect us to play favorites. Fourth, we will depend heavily on contributions oF 'articles, »news items, bulletins and' so on from the community. We want you to note, though, that we reserve the right to edit.
