He came to Port Perry in 1929 and was married to Clara Symes at Epsom in 1934 He was employed by Chariton Transport Ltd., Oshawa, for the past seventeen years. The deceased is survived by his wife, the former Clara Symes, a son: Jack; and five daughters: Marlene (Mrs. R. Desautels), Joan (Mrs. G. Holliday), Phyllis (Mrs. G. Geer), Nancy, and Linda (Mrs. D.Card). He is also survived by ten grand- children, three brothers and one sister. Funeral was held at the Chapel of McDermott - Panabaker on September 9, 1971.
