McKinley, a former minister who thought he might reach young people teaching and has been head of the English dept. in R.S. McLaughlin Collegiate in Oshawa has been very ill but is home, we all wish him a complete re covery. Aldo we are pleased to re port Mrs. Harry Bolton is home from _a few days visit to Oshawa hospital. We all hope Annie will soon feel fine again. Our sympathy to friends of Mrs. John Christie, formerly of Utica who passed away to day. Funeral will be in Port Perry on Thursday at 2 p.m Mrs. Christie had been living with her daughter Reba in Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. A. Card en- tertained all their family al- 80 Miss Vickie Luke of Port Perry for Sunday dinner. , Mr. Floyd Wilson and his friend Miss Helen Wilson visited Mr. and Mrs. Keith Wilson of Sarnia for the week-end Mrs. Wm. McGregor spent Wednesday with Mr. & Mrs. Howard Ashton and all visit ed Mr. and Mrs. James Mit chell of Utica. We are pleased to learn that Mr. Clifton Gibson is recovering and hope he will be home from the hospital anyday now. Several from the commun ity went with the Senior Cit. izens on Tuesday for a trip to Toronto by bus and a tour of the harbour by boat which was made a perfect trip with a good dinner at the Sher- wood in Markham Shopping Plaza. Mr. and Mrs. Craig Midd- leton and family of West Hill were supper guests with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Geer on Sunday. Dr. Jerrold, Mrs. Asling & girls of Hanover were with his parents for the week-end and attended the Terry pic- nic at Ponderosa Park, Mount Albert on Sunday. PROCLAMATION!
