WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Scugog has agreed to sell to the Department of Public Works, and deem it in the Public interest to close certain portions of Township Roads hereinafter described. ' The proposed By-law as set out herein is a draft only. TAKE NOTICE that the Reeves and Council or com- mittee, of the Township of Scugog, will meet in the Council Chambers of the Township of Scugog on Monday, July Sth, 1971 at 7:30 p.m., and there and then will hear in person or by Counsel, Solicitor or Agent, any person who claims that his land will be prejudically affected by this By-law and who applies to be heard. WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Township of Seugog pursuant to authority vested in the Council by the Provisions of the Municipal Act; Revised Statutes of Ontario 1960, Chapter 249, Section 459, deems it expe- dient in the Public interest to close up a portion of the road allowances as hereinafter described. AND WHEREAS printed notices of this By-law have been posted up for four weeks in six of the most public places im the immediate neighborhood of the portion of the said road allowances to be closed and the said notice has been published for four successive weeks in the Port Perry Star a newspaper published in the Village of Port Perry in the County of Ontario. AND WHEREAS the Council of the Municipality of the said Township of Scugog, has heard in person or by Counsel or Solicitor, all persons whose lands might be prejudicially affected by the passing of this By-law, who petitioned to be heard.
