John Boreham of Colborne was named chairman with 3 League Presidents named to his committee. Chas. Leil of Cavan will represent the Ka- wartha District League; Jim Hess of Castleton will rep- resent the Colborne District League and Brian Fulford of Port Perry will represent the Port Perry League. The youngsters all of a sudden acquired new parents for two days, while in Well and to compete in two week- end games, The boys were billeted to the parents of the opposite number on the jer- sey our boy's wore. Lausaugna, pizza and spa- ghetti and meat balls were the talk-of the boys on Sun- day morning. The parents of Welland who billited the boys had nothing but praise for the lads, as they conducted themselves very well. Some boys have been invited back to spend a holiday this sum- mer. Team spirit and desire pro- duce some good hockey as a whole, and everybody in Wel- land Minor Hockey com- mented on the style of kids and couldn't get over the passing attack produced in the games. The whole week- end was a wonderful experi- ence for the lads, and showed their own home town. The six hockey games pro- duced very good sportsman. ship at their conclusion, by each team and player con gratulating each other. The last few years these curlers have held a combined banquet with the afternoon curlers.
