Mr. Jim Hall who has been a resident of Ashburn for a number of years, passed away at Fairview Lodge on CENTENNIAL STITCHERS Since this was the holidays the meeting was at 2:00 - 4:00 instead of 400-6:00. It was also recorded as a work meet- ing. All but three girls at- tended the meeting, which was opened with the 4H pledge. Since there was no business, all just went ahead and worked on their dresses. Jackie Willis demonstrated how to make darts as she is working on them on her dress. Miss Dodd was going te show how to put an in- visible zipper in Dianne Marten's dress, but decided to wait until all the girls were present. Near the end of the meet- ing we decided on the cover and Karen Jordan designed it. Meeting closed with the 4H motto.
