All decked out in attire of the 1930 - 40 era, Julian Diamond, left, and Ralph Taylor received quite a few chuckles from the audience. it is not known if there was a shortage of female modets but Julian and Ralph filled in very capably. First model on stage at last week's fashion show was % racy Dowson. Tracy seemed quite startled when she came from behind the wings to find over 600 eyes staring at her. Finger in mouth and balloon in hand, Tracy made a considerably quicker exit than entrance styles for girls and boys from toddler to pre-teen, and suit- able for parties, playtime & stormy weather; the youngest model being just eighteen months old. During intermission Mrs. Robt. Brinkman, the -Unit leader, assisted with the drawing of door prizes and Master Roger Watson pleased the audience by the render- ing of a vocal solo. The second part of the Show was full of memories as well as a little slapstick. Fif- teen models showed original costumes, one a wedding gown dating to 1895, and two bathing suits dated 1900, looked quite fetching on Nancy & Alastair Reeves while Ralph Taylor's comic, typical, "school girl" of 1935" drew thunderous applause! The second intermission also proved entertaining, while Mrs. Catherine Martyn demonstrated the making of a fashionable hat, a chorus comprised of four U.C.W ladies, Mrs. Lillian Harper, Mrs. Hazel Slemmon, Miss Gladys Joblin, and Mrs. Rox- anne Webster sang "In your Easter Bonnet" Ontario County farmers are reminded of the Herbi- cide Workshop which will be held in the Ontario Depart- ment of Agriculture and Food Board Room, Uxbridge on Thureday, April ist, from 10:30 to 3:00 p.m. Topics to be discussed will include Weed Identification, specific weed problems, and control methods.
