CHAMPION CORRESPONDENT -- Mrs. Minnie Cryderman, mother of four grown-up children and grandmother of six, is the happy winner of the Ontario Hydro Award as Cham- pion Correspondent of the Ontario Weekly Newspapers' Association. A week ago Saturday the Scugog Snowmobile Club held a cook-out in the bush. It was a very stormy night, but they say it was largely sheltered, calm and beauti- ful in the woods. A good turnout of more than 30 snowmobiles was reported. Well, if our snow keeps on going as fast as it has been, we'll have to bid farewell to this fond winter sport for awhile. Mrs. Al Brown visited with Mrs. Retta Hardy in Port Perry one day last week.
