The modified A line skirt fell from an Em-} pire waist and the long sleeves and train were edged with lace and pearls. They were all at tired style tuxedos | home of Mrs. Tom McBride in Black reas Love Following the ceremony the reception was held at the Georgian Motel, Oshawa, where the guests were re ceived by the parents and bridal party. The bride's mother wore a formal gown of wine velvet with gold, pink and pear! bead trimming and accessories of beige gloves and gold purse. The groom's mother chose a formal gown} of forest green velvet with white translucent beading, matching long green gloves and pear! trimmed purse. For travelling the bride chose a purple paint suit and corsage of white gardenia and the groom wore grey trousers and vest with purple shirt matching the bride's suit. After the Holidays the couple will reside in Guelph where they are both students at the University. Out of town guests attended the wedding from the Toronto area, London, Guelph, Lind- say, Fenelon Falls, Grafton, Cobourg and Puerto Rico. Prior to her marriage the bride was honoured at sev- eral parties. Two miscellane- ous showers were given by friends and relatives of the groom.
