You gave me that support, and during my two year term of office as a councillor I have tried to do my job faithfully in the interest of ALL THE PEOPLE in the village of Port Perry. If during my term of office I supported or opposed any resolution, made statements of any kind, I did so in good faith for the betterment of our community and All its Citizens. ee As the saying goes, "Rome was not built in a day", and neither is any council, no matter who is on it. It is impossible to make big changes, or major improvements in such a short period of time. Because there is always that one big obstacle, "MONEY", and I presume that most people have that same problem. Nevertheless you can only try to do the best you can. Well, at this time the election is upon us, again, and AGAIN I am asking for your support and your vote. on Monday, December 7th, 1970 | I am not going to promise you the moon, as it is too high a jump for me or any man. But I can promise you that if I am elected, I will serve you faithfully in your interest and in the interest of the community.
