Environmental Assessment for Additional Water Supply for the Georgetown Urban ‘Area, the Region of Halton is forming a Public Liaison Committee. This Public Liaison Committee will provide an opportunity for public participation and infor- mation exchange with the Technical Agencies Committee on this proposed project. In order to achieve representation from across the community, membership of the Public Liaison Committee will be selected by the Regional staff and should include representatives from community and environmental groups, business persons and citizens-at-large. The Public Liaison Committee will meet at least six times in the evenings over the course of the project. If you are a Georgetown resident and interested in serving on this Public Liaison committee, please submit a letter outlining your interest to the address noted below by November 24, 1993. Only applicants who submit a written letter will be considered for this committee. All candidates for the Public Liaison Committee will be contacted by November 26 by Regional staff.
