A BIG thank you to everyone in our community who supported this annual event! And we are grateful for those visiting the County that saw our posters and signs, and decided a deli- cious home cooked meal would make their holiday just that much better! The funds raised will be used to fund the missions and ministries that the St. Philip’s ACW (Anglican Church Women) supports. And now, we are looking forward to the Fall, and the next big celebration at St. Philip’s — the Blessing of the Animals! Blessing of the Ani- mals is a well-established service of thanksgiving for all the creatures that make our lives just that much better. It is a worldwide cel- ebration held in early Octo- ber of the Feast of Saint Francis — the patron saint of animals and the envi- ronment. Our celebra- tion will be held inside the church on Wednes- day, October 4", at 5:30 p.m. Now you read that right — in the Zack Lammes Excavating Septic Systems / Foundation Excavations / Hydro & Water Lines / ys / Lot Clearing Enjoying the Corn and Pork Roast dinner at St. Philip’s are Catherine and Robin Reilly.
