Thomas Dunseith of Stratford had visited his brother in July of this year and he was in good health at that time. Born in Downie Township, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Dun- seith, pioneer settlers of this dis- trict, Mr. Dunseith had farmed the old homestead, Lot 5, Concession 7, Popular Member of Police Force Joins The Benedicts Congratulations are in place for P. Down at Mac's place on Wellington street there is always something doing. Crowds are taking advantage of his sale of ducks and chickens. Yes Mr. Mac is doing a real service to the community in giving people a chance' to buy luxuries at such low prices. This is a double ser- vice--a service to the farmer who sells and the customer who buys. Be sure and read this week's advertise- ment. The McTavish specials adver- tised each and every week in The Mirror are really worth-while values. Ends His Fast. Robert Thompson, young Downie Township farmhand, and a_ pro- vincial police prisoner at the pres- ent time who started on a hunger strike when he was arrested on Tuesday afternoon, ended his fast last night. He faces a charge of indecently assaulting a young lad of eight years and his case was ad- journed a week when he appeared on Wednesday. The prisoner broke his hunger strike when one of the special "Trethewy menus" was handed to him over at the St. An- drew street castle yesterday.
