PAYNE, James
Richard "Jim"
Jim passed away quietly with his wife by his side at Woodstock Hospital on December 31, 2023 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of 62 years to Glenda (nee Woodend). Jim is survived by his sister Barbara Freemantle, his brother Don Payne and his brother-in-law Derek Woodend (Sandra). He is fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews.
In his retirement Jim loved to bowl, even scoring a near-perfect game. He and Glenda enjoyed travel, with Ireland and the Bahamas among their favorite places.
In keeping with Jim's wishes, services will be private. For those who wish, donations in Jim's memory may be made to the Woodstock Hospital Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock.
