THE MILVERTON SUN | THURSDAY. SEPTEMBER 6 19105 Thou shalt not speak falsely of thy fellowman, lest conclusions as to his future.--(This is for the benefit wal hé speak the truth of you, which might be worse. lf a man uses methods in business which are foreign to you and which you can’t understand, don't jump at of those who have circulated false reports in regard to our business.) | OUR GRAND FALL DISPLAY OF MEN'S AND BOY’S.CLOTHING HE SHAPE-KEEPING reputation of our Men’s Clothing, is a great consideration-in our success to-day. Greater than all other features are :— _ . More to be desired than any other clothing con- sideration is—the proper. moulding, the correct tailoring, the shape-keeping detail of a garment. The Engeland Brand goes straight to the point in this modern direction. We only promise you what you are able to see and experience for yourself. If this were not so, we would select some other talk- ing point and give it an airing. Our hobby and our superiority—the style lines and the way they keep shape in our clothing. We never let a man out of the store with an ill-fitting suit or overcoat. Our own interests, if we thought nothing of yours, would guard against such abuse. We invariably deal in that way which brings you back a satisfied cus- tomer. We only ask for the confidence we continually prove that we merit. You are not asked to buy, you are only asked to look. Make comparison here, after you have seen what you can get for your money elsewhere. g We claim to have the most comprehensive, most com- 7 plete, most thoroughly reliable, stylishly and properly con- structed brand of Men’s Clothing sold in this vicinity. Settle this for yourself—-HAVE A LOOK. - Trouble Getting Fitted i Our friend Henry got in the wrong clothing store to buy a pair-of pants. We enjoyed hearing about it, and think you will too. © give | you his story in his own words: I says to the clerk, “Do you think you can give me a fit P” “Oh, yes,” says he, “I can give you a fit.” Well he did. When I tried them on I nearly had a spasm, he, ha, 1 says to‘him, “Say the right leg of these pants is two inches shorter than the left. “That's all right.” says he, “It won’t be short long. I’ll cut off the left and that’ll make-it right.” “Well you send them home,” says I, “and I’ll have mother fix them.” “ ta en, at is, I never wore them out of the house. Well, when I got home I says to mother,-“Did my pants come on time?” ‘She says, “No, they came C.O.D. Henry,” says she, “where do they belong?” “They belong to the left leg,” says I, “and I want you to cut off the left and make it even with the right.” Mother said she’d make both legs even if it took all day. Well, she made a mistake and got the left leg too short. Then she cut off the right and got it shorter than the left. But mother didn’t get discouraged. Oh, no; she kept right on cutting first one leg and then the other until she got both legs even. Well, what was left of the pants was hardly worth mention- ing. But I wore them to the party,” says Henry. “Oh, yes, I wore them, but I wore them for a necktie.” : Since then Henry buys his clothing from us. He says they fit and wear better than any he ever wore.
