HE Bankrupt Stock of H. M. Schaefer is now in the hands of A. A. Osborne, and we are pleased to state that we : will continue the sale until Sept. 1st, when we intend to move the balance to one of our other stores. But, if the authorities of Milverton force us to take out a six month’s license, why, we will be forced to remain six months, and will bring in goods and Bankrupt Stocks that will give each and every person goods at less than Wholesale Prices. Our stock in Simcoe will be moved here forthwith but otherwise we will vacate Sept. 1st. The notice in last week’s paper of us leaving was a misunderstanding, which the editor promises to correct in the next issue. We ask you all to call and have a look through our stock before you buy elsewhere. Remember, the sale will continue until Sept. ist. H. M. Schaefer’s Old Stand, MILVERTON, ONT. To slacken the selling pace in the hot season—to lessen Advertising activity—indicates a resignation which has no place in modern business. If we think we cannot keep our business booming in summer time, we surely will not. What a jolt it must have been to the fur trade, when the first mid-summer fur advertisement was tun in a daily paper! Now many fur stores are following the example of that BEBERSS ES fur man who dared to believe that fur sales need not go down as the mercury goes up. Energy, linked with Advertising, has turned the month of January into the biggest selling season. for white goods.
