+Pfeffer Bros. Thursday, November 11, 1909 THE MILVERTON SUN cr — “Hecla” Furnace And The Steel Ribbed Firepots The greater the radiating surface of the firepot, the greater the heat obtained from the fuel. In most furnaces, the firepots are made with castiron flanges or points, to increase the radiating surface. Being castiron, these flanges take up so ( much space that only a few can be used. In the “Hecla” Furnace we use steel ribs instead of castiron flanges. By applying our Patented Fused Joint Idea, we are able to fuse 97 steel ribs into the Firepot in the same space where before we were able to cast only 17 iron ones. This gives the “Hecla” three times the feffiting surface of any other firepot—and effects a saving of from ¥ to ¥ in fuel, as proved by a three ycar’s test. This fs ohly, one of the many features that are exclusive with “Hecla Furnaces. Theyare all des ieiislagus ghlsh weecdeltesaiou vorucats ROTHAERMEL @ SON, - Clare Bros. & Co.
