Marjorie Anne Best Exchanges Vows With Wayne Hooey BOWMANVILLE Orono United Church was the setting for the wedding recently of Marjorie Anne Best, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Best, Orono, and Wayne Leonard Hooey, son of Mr. and Mrs. A- L. Hooey, Bowmanville, The Reverend W. K. Houslander, Bowmanville, officiated. Mrs. M. Staples played the wedding music and accompanied the so- loist, Mr. John Ford, Toronto. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a full-length gown of white peau-de-soie fa- shioned with a fitted bodice, elbow-length sleeves and scoop neckline. The gown was fashion- ed on princess lines, falling green, Both wore white feath- ered hats trimmed with white net and carried nosegays of white carnations and white rosebuds The flower girls, the Misses Kathleen Lloyd and Su- san Combdon, were both in mauve nylon trimmed with white. They wore flowered ban- deaux and their flowers were nosegays of white and pink rose- buds.
