Loucks and visited with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Warburton, Whitby. A large number of residents attended the races at Mosport on Saturday. Mr. Peter Loucks with friends from Ottawa visited with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Loucks, and also attended the races at Mosport. Peter was successful in passing his first year in Journalism at Carleton University, at Ottawa. About 30 members of the Orono Mission Band and their leaders joined with the Leskard Group for a picnic on the lawn at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Angus Loucks on Friday, June 17. Mrs. McLaren very capably led in some active games. This was followed by a sing song and worship service led by the Leskard Group with Judy Green, Karen Green, and Randy Thompson taking part. A hearty lunch was served by the Les- kard WA Ladies. On Wednesday, June 15, tem members of the TMSM Club of Oshawa met at the home of Mrs. Angus Loucks. This group which started as a Sunday School class, has met regularly for over 30 years, with the ex- ception of some newer mem- bers, and is a very fine way of keeping up friendships. There was much jollity and fun (but very little sewing done) and this was climaxed by a delight- ful lunch.
