Coverage HALIFAX (CP) -- The Cana- dian Federation of Mayors and Municipalities will ask the Board of Broadcast Governors, the CBC and the Big Four Foot- hall League to telecast Big Four football over CBC stations. In a resolution approved dur- ing the annual conference of the federation, the BBG and CBC were asked to make "whatever facilitating arrangements" may games. Games this year are to be shown over a private television network. The: resolution said there are many regions, served only by the CBC, which will not see the games. Delegates also passed a reso- lution asking the federal govern- ment to investigate reasons for deficiencies in Canadian inter- national competitive athletic en- deavors.
