Kitchen conveners for the din- ner was Mrs. John Harris and the tables and servers were looked after by Mrs, Murray Sparkes. | OBITU ARIES FUNERAL OF JOSEPH ROBERT BAIRD The funeral service for Joseph Robert Baird, 841 Simcoe street north, who died at the Oshawa General Hospital last Saturday, was held at the Gerrow Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Monday, June 27. The services were conducted by Rev. H. A. Mellow, minister of Northminster United Church. In- terment was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince 'Albert. The pallbearers were S. Plow- man, E. Leask, G. MULLEN formerly of Oshawa, died sudden- ly in North Western Hospital, To- ronto, Monday, June 27 He is survived by his wife, the former Evelyn Andison, of Osh- awa; one son, Robert, and a daughter, Gaye, both at home. Cot- ter, the deceased was a daughter of the late William and Ellen Cotter. She was born in Oshawa and was married here in 1920. She was the last of her family.
