This is the third year in which similar awards have been made and this year's winners are Whitney Barris, Casey Heintzman - and Katharine Yourkevich. The aim of the fund is to support those students who are studying at the post-secondary level and who are majoring in Musical Studies. The fund is also spon- soring a Winners' Recital in Uxbridge on Thursday, June 28. Award winners from both this year and from previous years will be performing in recital - vocalists, pianists, saxo- phonists and others. It is always an inspiration to hear young people reach- ing for excellence - which "all these performers have done. This is a program for young musicians and their parents, families and teachers.
