"WEEKEND STAR" ams Take Flight CHRIS HALL / THE STAR Thanks to a recent donation of $1,000 by the Port Perry Lions Club, four Port Perry children and one chaperone will be catching a flight to Orlando on May 23 where they'll visit Walt Disney World for a day. This will be second year for the program in Scugog. On hand to receive the cheque was Dreams Take Flight national president Bill Sanderson, second from right. He's joined here by, from left, Port Perry past president Rob Rice, president Bill Oppers, and Sue Pelyk, who'll be the chaperone for the four children. The effort has been in place now forthe past 12 years, and, with the help of Air Canada and other sponsors, helps bring a smile to ill and underprivileged children across Canada.
