Our solid offense was dis- played by Ristow, Jordan Loyst and Nicole McGarry. Our Tykes on an impressive playoff run From Page 25 team as a whole passed well including the defence who are looking for their forwards when they break out of their own end. The Nicks, Trevor Grant and Stephen Hall on defence weren't too busy but made the big checks when called upon. As well, they set up a wall on the blue line to keep the puck in the opponent's zone. The team went eight and two in the round robin playoffs and they are now waiting to begin the best of five 'A' final against Mariposa. If the two past games are any indication the season is going to come to an exciting conclusion. Courtney defense consisting of Jamie Steranka, Lacey Churchill and Lynsey Cosburn shut down any- thing that came their way. Jennifer Joncas posted her first playoff shutout. Whether we win the Central East Championships or not has yet to be decided. All 16 players this season have shown great desire to learn, superb conduct on and off the ice and sports- manship plus win or lose. That was our team recipe all year long.
