Durham Regional Police report that the Cango gas bar on Simcoe St., just south of Port Perry at the Ridges, was robbed once again just before 6 p.m. on Dec. 11. Two males, dressed completely in snow wear, entered the small kiosk at approximately 5:55 p.m. and demand- ed cash, say police. The lone male attendant complied, police say, stuffing a quantity of cash into a bag. One suspect stood by the door keeping watch while the other demanded the money, say police. A chrome semi-automatic handgun was used in the robbery, police say. After acquiring the cash, the two men drove off to the south on Simcoe St. in a red Dodge Dynasty, report police. The first suspect, who had the gun, is described as a white male who stood about 5'1 1" and weighed 150 pounds. He was wearing a beige and green winter jacket and black snowpants with black gloves, a toque and reflective mirrored ski goggles. The second suspect is described as a white male standing six feet tall and weighing 150 pounds. He was wearing a black balaclava, a blue jacket with green stripes and black pants.
